Nature and Forest bathing is a 2.5-3 hour walk. We begin with an introduction to the practice and a recognition of the land where we are visiting. It is a very slow walk, covering a very short distance. Next, I guide us along by providing sensory immersion prompts or invitations and give you approximately 15 minutes at a time to explore on your own. After each prompt we gather to share our experiences if we so choose. The walk culminates with tea and treats in honor of the nature within and around us.

Why go with a guide?

Many cultures around the world throughout history have sought guidance and healing from the natural world. Every day medicinal remedies, and various healing modalities depend on research found in nature. A trained, certified guide is there to help open the doors for understanding your personal relationship within the natural world. We create and offer a container to unplug, let go, to release societal pressures, and to share and bear witness with others in a safe facilitated way. The guided practice can inspire impactful and transformative awareness’s in a way that other experiences may not fulfill. Many return again and again on a guided walk to broaden their own relationship with nature.
